1. Too easy to get stuck in Wormholes! - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Dread Jack on 09/03/2009 07:33:51 The OP has a valid point. Trolls, try this yourself or go home. In a w-space with many planets, you have the potential for dozens of signatures and no way to filter or eliminate unwanted sites. I sc...

2. New Warp Effect is... - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Its different. Not bad. Could be better. I'm waiting for lead-in/out animations. The tunnel instant on/off and turning with the ship specifically could use some polish. I like the subtle fade in and out used on the live server.

3. Scanning not working - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I've yet to be able to move a probe on the map interface. Hovering over or clicking on the probe 'widget' arrows/cube does nothing. Frustrating as this feature works for others, but not on my config.

4. I HATE to lose drones because of connestion lost - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Originally by: PeHD0M frustrating and fun breaking game mechanic I agree. CCP cannot control the internet or computer crashes, but it can control how the game behaves. Its very poor design to punish a player for events completely beyon...

5. NPCs destroying drones FTL - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Is it right that a player with a poor internet connection be punished? Should he have to spend millions of ISK to replace drones each time his client crashes? Adding a disabled state whereby the threat drones pose is removed, but allows them to b...

6. NPCs destroying drones FTL - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Dread Jack on 21/02/2009 07:49:34 Computers crash. Internet connections fail. Software and drivers have bugs. Any of these things can cause a disconnect. As it stands now, the game punishes the player for events beyond his control b...

7. Problem with Fitting Window - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
The problem with the fitting window is that it doesn't give enough information about your capabilities or allow a player to make informed decisions when choosing between various fitting options. We noticed the addition of the new stat "HP Effect...

8. These new effects are horrible. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Dread Jack on 19/02/2009 13:49:57 Originally by: Arakidias The new warp effect really needs to convey movement better. The old one was great in that regard. I agree. One of the only complimentary things my gamer wife has...

9. Attribute Re-Arrangment - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I find it HILARIOUS that the players nerfed themselves by whinewhoring about the ability to shift attributes every 6 months. Now its once a year. It would have made sense to keep it bi-annual to match up with the patch/expansion cycle. Good job!

10. Quadrangulation? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Originally by: Hoshi Seems pointless to discuss triangulation considering that the scan system doesn't use triangulation in any form it uses Trilateration . I see your point and agree. It was a mistake on my part to imagine a simpler ...

12. Quadrangulation? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Edited by: Dread Jack on 14/02/2009 08:40:48 You can find the location of an unknown point by forming a triangle having the unknown point and two known points as the vertices. This is triangulation. An example of this in EvE would be, a worm...

13. Game breaking issue - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I'm also one of the "peasants" who plays casually on a laptop. In fact, I've just purchased a brand new laptop, which runs both EvE and WoW just fine. However, after installing the test client EvE is performing at low single digit frame rates and ...
